INVITATION FOR QUOTATION FOR SUPPLY OF VERMIWORM (Mixture)

Manbhum Ananda Ashram Nityananda Trust (MANT) invites sealed quotations / digital
quotations from reputed and authorized suppliers for the supply of Vermiworm (Mixture) at
Balurghat, Dakshin Dinajpur District, under Project SRIJAN, supported by HDFC Bank
Parivartan.

2. Technical Specifications and Requirements
 The vermiworm mixture should contain three species of earthworms:
o Eisenia foetida
o Eudrilus eugeniae
o Perionyx excavatus
 Preferred packaging: 5 kg per packet, with the following composition:
o Eisenia foetida – 2 kg
o Eudrilus eugeniae – 1.5 kg
o Perionyx excavatus – 1.5 kg
 If 5 kg packets are not available, 10 kg bags/packets may be accepted,
maintaining the same proportion of the three species.
 As the material consists of live earthworms, each packet/bag must contain an
adequate quantity of vermicompost or partially decomposed/dry cow dung to
provide a suitable medium during transportation.
 The supplier must ensure proper handling, packaging, ventilation, and
transportation conditions to minimize mortality and maintain the viability of the
earthworms during delivery.
 The supplied earthworms should be healthy, active, and free from visible
contamination, pests, or disease.

3. Submission of Quotation
a. The quotation must be submitted in a sealed envelope and dropped into the tender
box at the SRIJAN Project office, BT Park, Power House, Balurghat- 733103

c. Kindly note that mentioning and marking copies to all given email IDs during
quotation submission is mandatory; otherwise, the quotation may be treated as
invalid.
