Manbhum Ananda Ashram Nityananda Trust (MANT) invites applications for the position of Project Coordinator to lead and manage field-level implementation of agriculture and livelihood projects.

Position: Project Coordinator

Location: Bandwan, Purulia (with mandatory stay near the project site)

Salary: Attractive and commensurate with experience

 

About the Role

This is a leadership role responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring project activities in agriculture and allied sectors. The position requires strong ownership of project delivery, team management, and adherence to organizational systems and reporting standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement project activities in agriculture and allied sectors
  • Monitor progress and ensure timely achievement of project goals
  • Manage field teams and support capacity building
  • Track budgets and monitor expenditures
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and donor updates
  • Ensure compliance with organizational systems and requirements
  • Coordinate with government schemes and local institutions
  • Identify risks and resolve field-level challenges

Eligibility Criteria

  • Master’s degree in Agriculture or related field (Horticulture, Forestry, Rural Development, Social Sciences, etc.)
  • B.Tech / M.Tech candidates with relevant experience may also apply
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (NGO / livelihood / NRM projects preferred)
  • Experience in project management, reporting, and team handling
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work in rural project locations
  • Valid driving license and own motorcycle required
