Need for the Program
Women from backward communities face limited economic and social opportunities. By equipping them with the skills and knowledge to generate income and manage resources, Self Help Groups play a crucial role in fostering economic independence and promoting social awareness.
Activities We Do
Capacity Building Training
Designed to empower marginalized women by enhancing their skills, knowledge, and confidence. Through targeted workshops, skill development sessions, and group discussions, we focus on income-generating techniques, financial literacy, and resource management. Participants also gain awareness on social issues, health, and legal rights, enabling them to make informed decisions and strengthen their roles in the community. This holistic approach not only promotes self-sufficiency but also builds a foundation for lasting social and economic progress within their communities.
Women Education Program
Focused on empowering marginalized women with essential knowledge and skills for personal and community growth. Through regular workshops, literacy sessions, and training in financial and digital literacy, we build women’s confidence to navigate social and economic challenges. We cover topics like health and hygiene, legal rights, and sustainable income-generation methods, fostering self-reliance and helping women become active change-makers in their communities.
Formation Of Cluster
We bring together women from marginalized communities into cohesive clusters to amplify their impact. By forming clusters, we facilitate shared learning, resource pooling, and collective problem-solving, creating a strong support network. These clusters help members access training, microfinance options, and income-generating opportunities while building leadership skills and fostering community empowerment. Together, these groups not only strengthen individual livelihoods but also enhance social and economic resilience within the communities.
Organisation Of Health Camp
We organize regular health camps to provide essential medical services and health education to marginalized communities. These camps offer basic health screenings, maternal and child healthcare, nutrition guidance, and hygiene awareness. By partnering with local health professionals, we aim to empower community members, especially women, with knowledge about preventive healthcare and connect them with resources for better health outcomes. This initiative supports overall community well-being, reduces health disparities, and strengthens our goal of building healthier, self-reliant communities.
Workshops
Designed to empower women from marginalized communities by building essential skills and capacity for economic independence. Through hands-on training, group discussions, and collaborative learning, women gain knowledge in financial management, resource utilization, and income generation. Additionally, our workshops address key social issues, enhancing awareness and confidence, which enables participants to make informed decisions and actively contribute to their communities. These workshops create a supportive environment where women can share experiences, learn new skills, and work together toward self-reliance and community development.
Group Discussion
Group discussions serve as a platform for women to share experiences, voice concerns, and build confidence in a supportive environment. These discussions address a variety of topics, from social issues and family health to financial literacy and local opportunities for income generation. By facilitating open dialogue, we foster a sense of unity and empowerment, helping women learn from each other and gain the skills needed to make informed decisions for their lives and communities.
Exposure Visits
Our Exposure Visit activities provide Self Help Group members with real-world learning experiences by visiting successful SHGs, cooperatives, and small businesses. These visits offer valuable insights into best practices, hands-on learning in income-generating activities, and an understanding of effective group dynamics. By connecting women with practical examples of self-reliance and entrepreneurship, we aim to inspire confidence, broaden perspectives, and strengthen their skills for building sustainable livelihoods in their own communities.
